OpenPEARライブラリに弊社のコードを公開しました。(PDFライブラリ）
弊社技術部リーダの福井さんが、社内で使っていたPDF出力用のプログラム・コードを一般に公開できる形にして発表しました。
OpenPEARライブラリという、PHPの開発が出来る人なら自由に閲覧・使用・改変が出来る一般公開されているライブラリがあり、そこに挙げられる形にまとめて登録を行いました。
昨年のPHP関西勉強会で、LT（LighteningTalk)のテーマとして発表しかなり反響があったもので公開して欲しいとの声が多数ありました。
システムでPDF形式のファイルを帳票として出力することがよくあるのですが、大事な伝票ですから書き出す内容もさることながら、デザインというかどれをどの「位置」に出すかが結構な問題になります。
X座標とY座標を指定して文字を書き出していくのですが、その座標を決める為に目安となる縦横のグリッド線を出す機能があるのがこのライブラリの大きな特徴です。
開発段階でグリッド線を表示しながら出力位置を調整し、公開時には引数をひとつ変更するだけでグリッド線を消すことが出来ます。
A3、B5など全部で6種類の用紙サイズに対応していますが、オープン・ソースなので手を入れて戴いてお好きな用紙サイズに対応させることが可能です。
日々の業務に取り紛れて、なかなかこのようなことが出来ないのが現実ですが、少しずつでも同じ開発者の方々と技術を交換していけたらなぁと思う奥進システム技術部です。
